Tea leaves, commonly known as tea, generally include the leaves and buds of the tea tree. Tea ingredients include catechin, cholestene, caffeine, inositol, folic acid, pantothenic acid, which are beneficial to health. The tea beverage made from tea leaves is one of the three major beverages in the world.
Tea originated in China, and tea was first used as a sacrifice. However, it has been used as a vegetable food by people since the late Spring and Autumn Period, developed for medicinal purposes in the middle of the Western Han Dynasty, and developed into a high-level court beverage in the late Western Han Dynasty. The earliest remains of artificially planted tea were found at the Tianluoshan site in Yuyao, Zhejiang, with a history of more than 6,000 years. Tea drinking started in China. The leaves are leathery, oblong or oval, and can be directly soaked in boiling water. They are divided into six categories according to the variety, production method and product shape. According to the season, it can be divided into spring tea, summer tea, autumn tea and winter tea.
